St. Lucie Tourism Campaign - Creative direction / Conceptualizing
Although situated between Orlando and Miami - major attractions for foreigners, this county has low numbers on tourism. Even the inland summer tourist didn't swing by often. So we choose to show the whole plethora of sports and leisure options there in the new campaign. It’s a beautiful place and perfect for vacations, which helps a lot. Further, making joint-venture marketing campaigns with major league teams, and even with the Grand Bahamas tourism council, we are definitely drawing St. Lucie County on the map.

Content Delivery System (Web app.) - Art Direction / UI + AI / UX
The challenge here was to create a whole content delivery system that could be entirely customizable, and specially easy to change graphic themes, so many products could use it in its own way and keep their look and feel throughout the whole site. Only a few images and some CSS file can change the whole interface of this web app.

Tom Strignano's FX Signals - Art Direction / IA / UI
25 years of Foreign Exchange knowledge had to be delivered through our still beta content management system (P.I.M.P.) and sent to mobile devices. This service also had to be sold entirely through web sales pages and promos, propagated throughout a lot of social media sites and user-groups using a non-intrusive strategy. After the firsts 3 days of sales, it was already a huge success.

Mets Spring Training Beach Getaway - User Experience / IA
St. Lucie County and The Grand Bahamas were giving for the Mets fans10 passes for a full VIP weekend at their locations, including golfing at PGA and Mets backstage access. They needed a very reliable and eye-catching sign-up page for the sweepstakes, and a participant directory page, loaded with informations, both fitting graphically within the already on-going tourism campaigns.

SexyHot - User Interface and Branding
The biggest pay-per-view channel aggregator in Brazil re-designed their media page for the most watched adult channel.

Comet Creative - User experience, IA and Branding
Formerly Blair Advertsiment, Comet Creative needed a new memorable brand, and a new site. After a winged turtle logo, and all branding, a whole Axure prototype for the website was made. After some ajustments, the lovable turtle finally flew away. Now they got a very agile and clean site, that had already pay-off itself with some new clients for the agency.

Bom Dia Brasil and Jornal Nacional - Project Coordination, IA and Branding
Here we have a workflow transition scenario. On the left side, with the TV Globo staff, the sites were created as the client demands, observing the content/editorial differences, and creating a specific design for each TV News show, which enabled a pleasant experience for the user. On the right side, with the Globo.com staff, an industrial workflow has started, with a standarized Information Architecture for all news programs. The branding was limited, but there were a gain of functionality regarding data input and a better integration with other tools of Globo.com portal.

Six Flags Jobs - User Interface
Six Flags opens annually this opportunityfor foreigners to come to US and spend a year working, studying, and havin fun.
Making this site was also quite a fun thing to do, but was so quick (just a week) that we are standing in line for another ride.

St. Lucie Tourism - (Reverse) IA and Branding
Tourism department had already this old site and no more budget to put in it. But they wanted to update the graphics with the new '09 campaign. So I came up with a kind of cheap make-up solution. I detected the image slices, gave it a whole new design, and just updated the images - no html harmed this time. Below you see the older site at left, at the middle the detected slices and at right the new graphics. Notice how the content is exactly the same and it fits inside every wireframe quadrant.

SPTV / RJTV / DFTV - Project Coordination, IA and Branding
IAlthough it is a TV News site, the news are not the main interest in this site. The focus stays on the services and the information that will help the inhabitants or the visitors of São Paulo. The news and the videos are only for those who missed something on TV. And, such as all TV Globo sites, the brand image, the atmosphere and the experience are the essence. The challenge is to make the user feels like he is in the show’s site and not in one more news site. Highlights for the rounded boxes, which reinforce the project’s identity, although it follows the same IA patterns of the other TV News sites of the network.

BASE OI - Design Coodination, IA and Branding
By the time it was launched, Base Oi was the games site of Portal Oi - the largest telecommunication network in Brazil.
I was invited by Final Boss, to develop the project in a very short time, with a very small team. Thanks to the great competence of these few brave warriors, we were able to face the “Dreadful Dead-line” and to deliver all sorts of information and games to the “starving players”.

UNIMOB - Design Coodination, IA and Branding
Itcon is a business inteligence company working with the real estate marketing in a B2B level for years. They growed a huge data-base of brand new real estate units, and they realized the opportunity to make it available for the masses, making easier to find new property to buy, etc. The result is a real useful tool for who is looking for new houses in Brazil.

No Limite 3 - Project Coordination, IA and Branding
Among all TV Globo’s sites, this was the one with the greatest number of accesses by that time. It had a lot of contents, a complex navigation and its architecture was very hard to finish. Besides, this kind of TV show demands a constant update on its website, as the show progresses. It was very hard but also very successful and pleasant project. This website preceded the “Big Brother Brasil” site, which are still very similar to this one until today.

GloboNews - Project, IA and Branding
A website for a whole TV Channel, with all of the shows, respective contents, dynamic schedule and so on… The challenge here was to create a specific look and feel for each show, embracing its contents, but still respecting the functionalities within the Channel’s Website. After a hard but exciting work, the mission was accomplished.

Globo Repórter - Project Coodination, IA and Branding
In every new episode, a brand new subject. It would be impossible for each subject to have its own design, but it could be done for each sub-section. Eventhough, for each episode, a sort of banner is inserted behind the navigation, to distinguish the topics. So, each episode/subject has its own treatment within the show’s website. The result is a very succesfull site, five years on line.

Journalism - Project Coordination, IA and Branding
During the seven years I worked at TV Globo, I was able to develop all the journalistic programs websites of the network, and some for the CGP (Soap operas and shows). Many of these works won’t be presented in this Portfolio by now, but some of my favorite ones can be seen below. Many of them are still online, check it out!
